Victor Potter is a Fellow of the North and Midlands School of Music (FNMSM) and holds a Certificate in Church Music Studies from the Royal School of Church Music. He is a Fellow of the Academy of St Cecilia (FASC), a Licentiate of the Guild of Musicians and Singers (LGMS), and a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians, Performers and Composers Section.

Victor is Organist and Director of Music at Eastbourne Parish Church (St Mary's, Old Town) and is undertaking doctoral research into the history and development of 16th and 17th Century Roman Oratorio at the University of Sussex.

He serves on the Sussex Area Committee of the Royal School of Church Music and is well known for his organ recitals including former recitals at the University of Sussex, in the Brighton Festival Fringe, St Mary's Eastbourne, Cirencester Parish Church, Lancaster Town Hall and elsewhere.
